Helping Today

Welcome to Bree Life

Many at times, there are factors that hinder the realization of one’s goals and aspiration in the broader sense

As a woman of African descent, specifically Ghana, I have experienced first-hand, a plethora of roadblocks that curtail the realization of a young girls’ dream. There are social and cultural factors, gender stereotypes, the opportunity cost of education, unsafe educational infrastructure, i.e. lack of sanitary towels, early marriage, teenage and unintended pregnancy, among others that cause barriers to girl-child education. The right to education on the basis of non-discrimination and equality is a recognized right under human rights law and BREE LIFE aims at contributing to the enforcement of the law in deprived communities in Ghana, West Africa.

Mission Statement

Bree Life is dedicated to providing educational access to children from underrepresented backgrounds with a focus on the girl child. Through program delivery and financial support, we bridge the gap between a girl’s aspiration and attainment.

Vision Statement

We are compassionate and accountable and foster collaboration. We are honest, we have integrity, and we are transparent in the delivery of programs We encourage innovation to respond to eventualities in the wake of the global pandemic.

Dream to Finish

We know that the early years of life are crucial in setting the stage for later success in school and life for girls. However, less privileged girls with no educational resources are left with no option than to experience teenage pregnancy, especially in Ghana. You can be part of a group that can prevent this and help a girl DREAM TO FINISH education program.

Change the Trend for the Girls

For over a decade, education for girls has been identified as one of the best solutions to reversing the relentless trend of poverty and disease devastating large portions of sub-Saharan Africa. Girls in rural areas of Ghana (Africa) are excluded from education not because of cultural resistance or unwillingness, but because of poverty -- the main barrier to girls' education. Educating a girl changes her destiny, as well as those of her future children, and ensures that she can contribute to the economic life of her community. You can be part of a group that can prevent this and help a girl CHANGE THE TREND education program. Donate

Break the Cycle

Help us support and extend education and empower these girls and provide them with the skills and confidence to fulfil their potential and the opportunity to break the cycle of poverty that currently plagues an average Ghanaian girl. You can be part of a group that can prevent this and help a girl Break the Cycle education program.

Making a Change, One Girl at a Time

Watch the Video

Girl's education is a vital way of transforming lives, not just for the girl herself but for her family and community too, and for the world at large.

Yet, according to UNICEF, 132 million girls are out of school globally, including 34.3 million of primary school age, 30 million of lower-secondary school age, and 67.4 million of upper-secondary school age.

In countries affected by conflict, girls are more than twice as likely to be out of school when compared to girls in peaceful areas. This is what BreeLife is all about—how can we support one girl at a time from primary school through High School? With your help, I believe we can
